La oportunidad

 

The Manager, IT Electronic Security leads the global financial, operational, governance, and compliance activities of the Electronic Security function. The position manages at Global level budgets, forecasts, business cases, and expenditure approvals with country, facility, regional, and corporate leadership. It ensures reliable daily operations and compliance across video surveillance, access control, alarms, servers, storage, and supporting infrastructure. The Manager serves as the principal liaison with Security, Finance, Procurement, Audit, Cybersecurity, IT, and business stakeholders. The role represents Electronic Security during audits and is accountable for audit readiness, remediation, Management Action Plan closure, and compliance requirements. It also leads regional administrators and technical teams while overseeing projects, vendors, maintenance, and technology lifecycle programs. 

The Role 

  • Financial Planning, OPEX/CAPEX Budget Management and Executive Approvals 
  • Lead global budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for Electronic Security operations, maintenance, lifecycle replacements, and projects.  
  • Prepare business cases and obtain expenditure approvals from country, manufacturing facility, regional, and corporate leadership.  
  • Monitor expenditures, forecasts, and funding risks while coordinating financial requirements with Security, Finance, Procurement, IT leadership, and business stakeholders 
  • Daily Operations, Service Continuity and Compliance 
  • Oversee daily operations and support for video surveillance, access control, alarms, servers, storage, integrations, and supporting infrastructure.  
  • Ensure incidents, maintenance, recurring failures, and operational risks are addressed promptly.  
  • Maintain continuous compliance with global configuration, recording, retention, access, inventory, documentation, and maintenance requirements across all company locations. 
  • Audit Leadership, Compliance and MAP Closure 
  • Serve as the principal Electronic Security representative for internal and external audits.  
  • Maintain audit readiness, coordinate evidence, and ensure requirements are completed accurately and on time.  
  • Assume overall accountability for audit findings, Management Action Plans, remediation commitments, corrective-action validation, stakeholder escalation, and formal closure of compliance requirements. 
  • Stakeholder and Security Department Relationship Management 
  • A Serve as the primary IT relationship owner for Corporate Security, Regional Security, site-security teams, plant leadership, and senior management.  
  • Translate security and business needs into financial, operational, technology, and project requirements.  
  • Conduct governance reviews, resolve competing priorities, clarify accountability, and report budgets, operational performance, risks, projects, and compliance status. 
  • Global Team Leadership and Operational Governance 
  • Lead regional Electronic Security Administrators, technical teams, and supporting resources across company locations.  
  • Establish objectives, responsibilities, service expectations, escalation paths, and consistent operating practices. Prioritize workloads, provide coaching and development, assess staffing and training requirements, and ensure management coverage for critical incidents, audits, projects, and operational escalations 
  • Projects, Technology, Lifecycle and Vendor Management  
  • Oversee Electronic Security projects, system upgrades, integrations, facility expansions, and lifecycle programs. Ensure solutions are secure, compliant, supportable, and financially sustainable.  
  • Manage manufacturers, integrators, and service providers while monitoring budgets, schedules, risks, deliverables, and vendor performance.  
  • Ensure completed projects are documented and transitioned into operational support. 
  • IT Policies, Auditing & Cybersecurity 
  • Enforce proper usage and handling of IT and security equipment on-site. 
  • Create and execute SOPs to meet internal and external audit requirements. 
  • Design infrastructure solutions aligned with cybersecurity and compliance standards. 
  • Support software auditing processes and gather required documentation for business audits 

 

The Requirements 

  • Education: Systems Engineering or similar equivalent experience; IP Security Systems Certifications (desirable).  
  • Experience: Overall 10 year of relevant experience; 5 years on managerial positions; 5y oriented to Infra or Security systems
  • Bilingual 100% English-Spanish.
